BROWN (US) — Hospice care is on the rise, and so are aggressive end-of-life treatments that may add to the suffering of both patients and families.New research shows an increase in hospice use over the last decade, but also finds more ICU utilization, more repeat hospitalizations, and more late health care transitions.
